Paeds in a Pod is a reputable private medical practice dedicated to providing specialist care to newborns, infants, children, and adolescents.

We strive to deliver comprehensive medical care with best practice standards and modern expertise.

Our services include 24-hour neonatal care to the Greenslopes Maternity Service and Special Care Nursery.

We specialize in growth and development and work within a multidisciplinary team to provide a holistic approach to the management of complex paediatric patients. With this vision in mind, the practice employs experienced allied health professionals on location and has an extended network of professionals off site to integrate into the multidisciplinary team.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team. As a key member of our Allied Health team, you will be responsible for delivering efficient, evidence-based clinical services to a caseload of clients funded by the NDIS, Medicare, and other private operators.

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering speech and language assessments, developing and implementing therapy plans, and working collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic therapy programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer speech and language assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Deliver one-on-one intervention sessions, multi-disciplinary, and transdisciplinary group interventions
  • Write therapeutic reports as required
  • Work collaboratively with the Allied Health team to achieve clinical targets
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent qualification
  • Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • National Police check (NPC)
  • Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
