Key Responsibilities- Provide operational management to all areas of Quality and throughout the organization in line with relevant Accreditation Programs and regulatory frameworks.
- Oversee the collection, management, and evaluation of clinical indicators and the investigation and resolution of incidents and adverse events.
- Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Services to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Lead groups and projects, adopting new concepts and facilitating change to promote high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement strategic plans, manage workforces, and develop policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with contemporary clinical risk management strategies and best practices in quality management.
- Relevant qualifications in a Health discipline with valid AHPRA registration or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a quality management role.
- Previous experience in successful Accreditation preparation with the 8 NSQHS National Standards.
- Excellent understanding of clinical governance principles and quality management frameworks.
- Proven leadership and project management skills, with the ability to facilitate change and improve processes.
- Knowledge of contemporary clinical risk management strategies and quality improvement methodologies.
