Rural General Practice with Hospital VMO Opportunities

The opportunity to work in a General Practice setting and provide hospital VMO services in a small rural town is now available.

General Practice

  • Provide primary healthcare services to a population of 650 residents.
  • General Practice sees between 25 to 30 patients per day.
  • Clinic hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Hospital VMO Opportunities

  • Provide 3 on-call shifts per week, with the option to choose your on-call days and no weekend work required.
  • Hospital presentations average between 5 to 10 per week.

Features of the Role

  • $25,000 incentive payment paid on commencement.
  • 65% of billings at the general practice and 75% for after hours, residential aged care, and home visits.
  • $800 daily rate for on-call shifts at the hospital.
  • Fully furnished accommodation and vehicle provided.
  • Access to MM6 & DPA rural retention and relocation grants.

  • Collarenebri is a small town with a rich agricultural heritage, located in Regional NSW.
  • The town offers a tranquil and close-knit rural lifestyle amidst the stunning landscapes of the Australian outback.

Suitability

  • The ideal candidate will hold General Registration or Vocational Registration with AHPRA.
  • ALS2, REST, or equivalent certificate required.
  • Recent Emergency experience within the last 12 months is essential.
