About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Surveyor - Aerial Spoil Tracking to join our team at Webuild S.p.A. in the Snowy Mountains region of NSW. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing monitoring survey requirements and utilizing specialized knowledge to improve systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data management and conformity
  • Preventative maintenance of monitoring systems
  • Providing survey activities to meet project work schedules
  • Ensuring the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations
  • Collaborating with tunnelling and construction teams
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications or related discipline in surveying and spatial sciences
  • White Card
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in the construction industry in a similar role
  • Previous experience in using and diagnosing monitoring systems
  • Experience in surveying software, including AutoDesk, 12D model, Leica Infinity, and MicroSurvey Starnet
  • Experience working on large-scale construction projects
Competencies
  • Provision, maintenance, and adjustment of primary survey control networks
  • Scanning (instrumentation/software)
  • In-depth understanding of survey principles
  • Ground settlement monitoring (automatic and manual systems) including reporting of data
  • Good understanding of Australian and International Standards relating to concrete and earthworks
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong teaching and coaching skills
  • Ability to lead a team and develop skills
  • Ability to collaborate across technical functions, site construction engineers, and external stakeholders
  • Sound interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to work to deadlines and targets and prioritize tasks under pressure
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication
  • Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • Strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent safety awareness with good housekeeping habits
  • Ability to carry out work instructions and directives to provide satisfactory outcomes
  • Ability to work within a team environment to achieve desired results
