The role requires an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work as an Electrical Tradesperson at a production site.

This is a full-time position that involves working in a team environment, rotating shifts across multiple facilities. As part of the maintenance team, Industrial Electricians play a critical role in supporting the crew through preventive maintenance and breakdown support.

We are looking for someone with previous experience working as an Industrial Electrician in a high-volume manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will hold relevant trade qualifications and demonstrate good communication, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring commitment to safety, quality, and the environment
  • Carrying out electrical repairs on fixed plant with an emphasis on planned and predictive/preventative maintenance
  • Working closely with the Operations team during breakdowns, fault finding, and troubleshooting issues
  • Responding to callouts and unplanned maintenance in a timely manner to minimize downtime
  • Maintaining PLCs and circuitry
  • Performing inspections, servicing, and repairs according to site requirements
  • Conducting major overhauls during plant shutdowns
  • Focusing on continuous improvement ideas
  • Providing direction to contractors and work groups as required

Key qualifications include:

  • Trade qualified (valid unrestricted electrical license)
  • Demonstrated experience working as an Electrician in an industrial environment
  • A high level of fault-finding experience
  • PLC diagnostic experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • A confident, self-motivated, energetic individual
  • A team player with a high degree of trade flexibility
  • Ability to work autonomously and without direct supervision when necessary
