Job Title: Management Accountant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Management Accountant to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing sales reports, maintaining and submitting records of business expenses incurred, and assisting with budgeting and reporting.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Sales Reporting: Preparing accurate and timely sales reports to help inform business decisions.
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintaining and submitting records of business expenses incurred to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Budgeting and Reporting: Assisting with the development and management of budgets, as well as producing regular financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Analysis and Presentation: Conducting analysis, creating profitability reports, and presenting accurate data and financial analysis to internal customers.
  • Financial Statements: Creating financial statements for internal and external company requirements.
  • Financial Planning: Providing financial analysis and forecasting to support business growth and development.
  • Audit Support: Supporting auditing projects to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Financial Systems: Reviewing, developing, and implementing financial systems, processes, financial models, and reports to provide reliable and useful financial information for various departments and management.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualification in Administration/Accounting/Commerce or related disciplines.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Project Cost Planning: Experience in project cost planning, scheduling, and development of Financial Reports.
  • MS Office Skills: Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Costing and Management Accounting: Sound knowledge of costing/management accounting practices.
  • Organizational and Managerial Skills: Strong organizational and managerial skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to work with deadlines.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated, confident, able to work under own initiative, and great attention to detail.

The remuneration package offered is between $75,000 - $85,000 per annum, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
