Job Title: Risk Management Lead

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our financial risk management team. The successful candidate will oversee capital management, model risk management and key financial risks while collaborating with stakeholders.

The role involves identifying opportunities to improve risk management processes and their implementation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing operationally efficient solutions using machine learning and AI for the oversight of key financial risks
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Supporting the implementation of QBE's Group Model and UDA governance framework

About You:

  • Knowledge of general insurance industry, including regulatory environment in Australia
  • Working experience in general insurance actuarial areas would be advantageous
  • Ability to analyse data, resolve complex issues and communicate clearly to a wide audience
