We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team, responsible for managing key payroll activities and supporting the People & Culture team.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Handle calculations for entitlements such as overtime, leave, and terminations.
- Reconcile payroll data and manage monthly payments (PAYG, super, tax).
- Respond promptly to payroll queries from employees and stakeholders.
- Support payroll processes and policy adherence.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 1-3 years' experience in a full-function payroll role, managing payroll for 800-2000 employees, with knowledge of payroll legislation.
- Attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and team spirit.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Dayforce is a plus.
- Organisational skills and a curious, collaborative mindset.
