Are you a skilled mechanical engineer looking for a challenging role in a dynamic team?

Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their Perth-based team. As a key member of the engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining mechanical systems for hydrocarbon storage and distribution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining mechanical systems, including feasibility studies, detailed design, and engineering calculations
  • Preparing costings and proposals, attending customer sites to scope works, supporting installations, overseeing commissioning, and providing ongoing technical troubleshooting
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget while ensuring adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and documentation requirements
  • Supporting product development, monitoring system performance, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 2 years' experience
  • Membership of the National Engineering Register
  • Chartered Status (CPEng) preferred
  • Experience in mechanical aspects of fuel facilities and fuel management systems highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
