Aboriginal Health Nurse RN2

We are seeking a suitably qualified and registered RN2C Clinical Nurse to join our team at HaRTSS Cedar Health Service in a part-time capacity (0.6 FTE or 22.8 hours per week) until 30th June 2025.
The Clinical Nurse provides quality consumer-centred, trauma-responsive nursing health care to consumers over 16 years of age, inclusive of all genders who are experiencing domestic and family violence (DFV).
You will be predominantly delivering clinical health care, and this may include detailed healthcare assessments that can be used in the criminal justice system and referral pathways in accordance with consumer-centred care.
About YouTo be successful for this role, you should be a Registered Nurse who holds a current practicing certificate with at least 3 years full-time post-registration experience.
Your experience should include:
- Competence in working with consumers experiencing family and domestic violence, community health or sexual health.
- Ability to provide specialised domestic and family violence assessment triaging and healthcare such as recording injuries, which may later be used in court.
- Responding to the health needs of people affected by domestic and family violence in the health service and ability to provide outreach nursing services in domestic and family violence accommodation.
