Key Role

As a Senior Investigation and Compliance Officer, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-level investigation and complaints management services to our Regulatory Services division.

This role is key to the delivery of our City's Community Plan, encompassing:

  • Investigation management
  • Complaints management
  • Community education and engagement activities
  • Stakeholder relationships
  • Supervision of Rangers in compliance enforcement

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in regulatory or law enforcement environments.
  • Expertise in negotiation and mediation with diverse stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of legislation and regulations.
  • Ability to conduct complex investigations and provide recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong administrative skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Capacity to prepare prosecution briefs for court proceedings.
  • Hold a Senior First Aid Certificate and OCHRE card (or ability to obtain).
  • Hold a relevant qualification in Government Investigations (or equivalent).
