Aircraft Maintenance Professional

Coulson Aviation Australia is a leading provider of aerial firefighting services, operating across Australia and globally. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational availability of our aircraft fleet, which includes Boeing 737 FIRELINERSTM, C-130 Hercules, Citation and Kingair Lead Planes, CH47D Chinooks, Sikorsky UH60, S-61 and S76 and Bell 412 helicopters.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on company aircraft to ensure compliance with publications and regulatory standards.
- Document maintenance activities and ensure that work sheets, logs, tracking updates and other required records are complete and submitted in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with a team of managers, engineers, pilots and emergency service personnel to maximize aircraft readiness and availability.
- Assist in base activities such as task preparations, stores and GSE maintenance tasks required in support of the ongoing operation.
- Nurture a safe working culture and compliance with SMS and other company documentation.
- Current CASA Part 66 Aircraft Engineer license with B1 and or B2 category.
- Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card.
- Type rated or experience on any of Chinook CH-47, Bell 412, Sikorsky UH-60, Boeing 737, Cessna Citation and/or Beechcraft King Air airframes.
- An understanding of CASA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to interpreted maintenance documents, directives, maintenance data reporting, using technical orders.
