- Relevant degree in a field such as climate change, energy policy, or a related discipline
- Experience in providing support to qualitative research projects, including oversight of milestones and budgets
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work with Chinese stakeholders and Chinese language skills
- Desirable: experience working on policy analysis of decarbonisation in the steel sector in China or Australia, or climate change or energy/industrial transition more broadly
