Reporting Solutions Engineer

The Opportunity: Located at Wacol, the Business Intelligence Developer plays a crucial role in the design and implementation of reporting solutions, alongside constructing data models within the Mining Solutions sector of Komatsu, ensuring high-quality technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
Crafting, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards in an enterprise reporting framework while providing comprehensive data analysis. Converting business needs into effective data solutions and models. Creating tables and views in Snowflake and utilizing DBT. Developing efficient visualizations and Power BI reports adhering to established standards. Executing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes within the Data Warehouse. Implementing testing and deployment strategies for data models and reports. Setting up and managing various security layers related to Power BI reports.Benefits at Komatsu:

Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Business Intelligence Developer. Skills and Competencies Proficiency in database design, data modeling, and SQL (Essential). Experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and M Code (Essential). Familiarity with Azure DevOps and using pipelines for Power BI deployments (Preferred). Knowledge of Git and Visual Studio (Preferred). Experience with the Azure suite of services (Preferred).Ready to embark on this journey?
