About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Financial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing financial activities related to a diverse property portfolio.

  1. Manage and oversee accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  2. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  3. Monitor and process property-related transactions such as rent receivables, operating expenses, service charge reconciliations, and capital expenditures.
  4. Liaise with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and budgeting for properties.
  5. Assist in preparing financial reports for stakeholders and investors.
  6. Review lease agreements and ensure accurate rent calculations, operating costs, and other financial terms are reflected correctly in the accounting system.
  7. Prepare reconciliations of property-related balance sheet accounts, ensuring timely resolution of any discrepancies.
  8. Support year-end audits and tax filings, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA/CA Qualified
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in real estate finance, ideally within a real estate or property management environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, particularly in relation to real estate and property management.
  • Proficiency in financial software, with experience in property management systems (Yardi, MRI, or similar preferred).
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
