Job Role: Dental Care Provider
About the Position:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Care Provider to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with patient care, preparing dental instruments, and maintaining a clean treatment area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with their needs, ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease during procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, assist dentists during examinations and procedures, and maintain a tidy treatment room.
- Monitor dental supply levels, ensuring the treatment room is well-stocked and organized.
- Provide patients with post-operative care instructions and educate them on oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and other staff to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experience.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, as well as regulatory requirements in the dental practice.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is essential.
- A Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to address patient concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy.
- Attention to detail.
