Job Title: Automation Test SpecialistAustralia's federal government seeks an experienced Automation Test Analyst to join their dynamic team.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.Responsibilities include designing and implementing automated testing frameworks, ensuring alignment with government standards and best practices.The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements.Key skills required:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tricentis TOSCA
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure test coverage
  • Execute automated test suites, analyse results, and report defects using standard tools and processes
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of test frameworks, standards, and best practices
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to testers and stakeholders on TOSCA capabilities and automation strategies
Mandatory qualifications include relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.Experience working within Agile and/or DevOps environments is highly desirable, as well as proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools.This is an exciting opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a meaningful public sector context.
