IT Support Professional for Operational Sites

As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for providing front-line support and maintenance services to our Australian business divisions based in Brisbane. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
The role involves managing and actioning requests from employees through the effective use of an IT Service Management (ITSM) system. You will also provide an escalation point for the Level 1 support team and work collaboratively with colleagues in other teams to ensure that service requests are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
The IT Support Officer will be required to provide both onsite and remote technical support for laptops, PCs, mobile devices, printers, video conferencing facilities, office productivity tools, and minor business applications. They will also assist with the configuration and deployment of equipment, including laptops, PCs, mobile devices, and printers.
In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will participate in the IT on-call support roster and assist the IT Support Services Manager with configuration items, asset management, process management, and implementing asset processes and structures.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent problem-solving abilities, with the ability to follow and develop processes. Industry certification in relevant Microsoft technologies and an ITIL Foundations Certificate would be desirable, but not essential.
You will also require experience in trouble-shooting technology problems, supporting Microsoft operating systems and applications, configuring, supporting and managing laptops, PCs, and associated equipment, mobile devices, printers, video conferencing facilities, office productivity tools, and minor business applications.
A current, unrestricted driver's licence and reliable vehicle to travel to provide site-based support are also essential requirements. Additionally, you must be available to provide after hours and public holiday support based on the IT on-call support schedule.
