**Job Opportunity:** Mechanical Engineering Technician

Newcastle Service Centre is seeking an experienced and skilled Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and diagnosing faults in vehicles and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a recognised trade qualification or relevant experience, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar environment. They will possess in-depth knowledge of diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems, as well as strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular maintenance on vehicles and equipment
  • Meet with clients to understand their concerns and identify issues
  • Assemble mechanical components according to specifications
  • Examine vehicles and equipment to determine functionality problems
  • Perform assessments and alert clients to potential issues

Requirements:

  • Recognised Trade Qualification or relevant experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar environment
  • In-depth knowledge of diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems
  • Strong attention to detail with problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position
