Cricket Enthusiast Role

We're looking for a cricket enthusiast to help bring the game to life in the Eastern Goldfields. This exciting role involves successfully delivering the local Cricket Blast Program, driving school-based programs, and helping kids transition into Cricket Blast and Junior Cricket within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the Eastern Goldfields Cricket Blast Program, getting new participants excited about the game and helping them transition into local junior competitions.
  • Deliver exciting national school programs like Mascot Challenge, Health and PE programs, Sporting Schools, and Cricket Blast School Cups.
  • Build strong relationships with local schools, ambassadors, and district-level networks to grow cricket across the region.
  • Keep track of key contact information and communication history in the CRM, making sure everything's up-to-date and accurate.
  • Deliver cricket development sessions to school ambassadors when needed and support other school cricket competitions in the Eastern Goldfields.
  • Help Cricket Blast volunteers and deliverers gain the skills and accreditation they need to provide top-notch cricket experiences.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Education and/or Sport Management is a plus, but not essential.
  • Experience in community sport and an understanding of pathways.
  • Ability to build strong school partnerships that bring cricket to life in classrooms and playgrounds.
  • Top-notch influencing and relationship-building skills.
  • Somone who can plan, implement, and deliver on goals.
  • A passion for promoting and delivering fun, entry-level programs.
  • A current Working with Children Card.
  • A valid 'C' class driver's license.
  • Community Coach Accreditation (Level 1) would be a great addition.
