Role Overview

Hilti (Aust) Pty Ltd seeks a highly skilled and ambitious individual to join its prestigious Outperformer Program. This two-year management development program offers unparalleled opportunities for growth, learning, and career advancement.

Responsibilities

As a member of the Outperformer Program, you will be involved in various international projects, working closely with senior management. You will have the chance to develop your leadership skills, gain valuable industry knowledge, and build a strong network of contacts across the organization.

The program is structured into four main stages:

  • Account Management or Field Engineering: 12 months in the country where you apply.
  • Operational Project: 3 months at national headquarters, working in various departments such as logistics, HR, finance, marketing, or engineering.
  • Strategic Project: 6 months at regional headquarters (Singapore), where you will work on high-impact projects that drive business growth.
  • Global Strategic Project: 3 months working on a strategic project outside your region, providing a unique opportunity to gain international experience.

The program also offers a range of development opportunities, including:

  • Leadership Development Program: A comprehensive learning journey with IMD business school in Lausanne, Switzerland, culminating in a qualification from IMD.
  • Business Management Training: Individual training at Hilti, focusing on behavioral profiles, personal strengths, leadership styles, and communication skills.
  • Global Summit: 4-5 days at our global headquarters in Liechtenstein, providing a unique perspective on global business operations and soft skills such as situational leadership and international teamwork.
  • Social Project: 7-8 days participating in a community project, such as building a house for displaced refugees in Bosnia.

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A master's degree or PhD in business management or engineering, or a related field.
  • At least three months of professional experience, or recent graduates eager to take on a challenging role.
  • Fluency in English and another language, with international experience gained through work or studies.
  • Maturity, assertiveness, curiosity, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
  • Strong communication and social skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • A global mindset, with a willingness to embrace intercultural experiences and opportunities to work abroad.
  • AU citizenship or permanent residence.
