Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Heavy Leading Hand Diesel Fitter. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a mobile maintenance team, performing servicing, repair and maintenance of equipment, sourcing technical information, and providing technical support.

This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent time management abilities, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. The ideal candidate will have a Cert III in Heavy Diesel Fitting or equivalent, at least 5 years of mining experience, and high risk work licenses advantageous.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of maintenance activities at the Mt Holland Mine, including sourcing parts and requisitioning equipment requirements. You will also be responsible for verifying the implementation of solutions and controlling non-conforming machinery until the deficiency has been corrected.


Requirements:
  • Cert III in Heavy Diesel Fitting or equivalent
  • At least 5 years mining experience with exposure to leading or supervision of mobile maintenance HD Fitters
  • Possess a positive leadership style, with exceptional time-management skills and the ability to pivot around priorities
  • Manage performance, planning servicing, repair and preventative maintenance heavy mobile mining equipment
  • Ensure work health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to
  • High Risk Work Licences Advantageous – WP, LF and Rigging
