About the Position

We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic professionals to join our team of 5 in Sydney's Northern Beaches, working in Manly, Cromer, Forestville and Mona Vale. You'll deliver fun, skill-building sports classes for children aged 1-5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate sports classes for children aged 1 to under 6 years.
  • Engage with the children and their parents/grandparents with enthusiasm and clear communication in every session, providing encouragement and guidance, tailoring the exercises where needed to the skill levels of participants.
  • Represent Roo's Champs with enthusiasm and professionalism, including explaining enrollment packages and their benefits to parents/grandparents.
  • Create a positive, safe, inclusive and fun environment for kids and parents/grandparents, adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and safety standards, and completing required training.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Prior experience in coaching young children.
  • Certification or willingness to pursue certification in coaching.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and salesmanship, with the ability to motivate participants and engage with parents/grandparents about the program and enrollment options.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Availability to travel around the Northern Beaches.
  • A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) and Police Check.
  • First Aid & CPR certification or willingness to work towards this.
