Tax Consultant Role

We are seeking a Tax Consultant to shape the future of our growing corporate tax team.


The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Tax Consultant to join our expanding specialist tax consulting team, which offers income tax and GST advisory services. The successful applicant will work alongside our tax team and other service lines to consult clients on various generalist income tax and GST issues.

Candidates should have a background in corporate tax consulting or corporate business experience. We support flexible work arrangements and welcome applicants on either a part-time or full-time basis.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
  • Prepare tax technical research and written advice on income tax and GST matters.
  • Interpret legislation, case law, and ATO guidance to support client solutions.
  • Manage client communications and ensure timely delivery of engagements.

About You
  • Strong tax technical knowledge and commercial insight.
  • Experience interpreting legislation, case law, and ATO guidance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to identifying tax issues and delivering solutions.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • CA or CPA certification underway or already completed – desirable but not essential.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality tax advice to clients. Your expertise in tax technical knowledge and commercial insight will enable you to provide effective solutions to complex tax issues.
