Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer with expertise in coastal and maritime structures to lead the design of coastal infrastructure across Australia.

About the Role:
  • Lead the design of coastal infrastructure, including jetties, marinas, wharves, boat ramps, breakwaters, seawalls, revetments, and other coastal protection infrastructure.
  • Act as a Project Manager for small to large-scale projects, leading engagement with clients.
  • Contribute to diverse coastal and offshore projects, working with various teams.
  • Be a technical leader in maritime structures, conducting internal reviews, and contributing to template and workflow development.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to less experienced team members.
  • Write proposals and support business development and customer relationship management.
About You:
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant area of study.
  • Have at least 10 years' experience post-graduation.
  • Experience in the design of coastal and maritime structures.
  • Experience working within the engineering/consulting sector, including proposals and directly managing customers or external stakeholders.
  • Relevant registration with recognized engineering/environmental bodies, including RPEV/RPEQ or ability to obtain one.
  • Unrestricted permanent work rights in Australia.
  • A passion for the coast and saltwater.

  • Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality results.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in coastal and maritime engineering.
