Job Title: Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator

Tradewind Australia is currently recruiting for a dynamic and experienced Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join an outstanding Early Learning Centre in St Kilda. The centre caters for children from 0-5 and has 7 rooms with space for 100 children.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to lead an integrated service delivery, fostering a professional and creative learning environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining open communication, undertaking additional duties as needed, and providing excellent service to internal and external users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Coordinator and Senior Educator for performance discussions and comply with legislative requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs based on the National Quality Framework, ensuring clear objectives and family discussions.
  • Reflect on practice techniques, maintain inclusive environments, and establish effective partnerships with families and the community.
  • Keep confidential records, respond to inquiries, and promote the centre professionally.
  • Actively participate in the integrated team, ensuring compliance with policies, Child Safe Standards, and the Australian Early Childhood Association Code of Ethics.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Children's services or equivalent in accordance with the Educational and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
  • A minimum of 1 year experience working in an Early Childhood setting or school environment
  • Current level 2 First Aid Certificate, Food Safety, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Certificate
  • Satisfactory Police and Working with Children checks
  • Knowledge of National Regulations, NQF, VEYLD and EYLF, Child Safe Standards
