Work Health and Safety Specialist

We are seeking a Work Health and Safety Specialist to lead our team in developing strategies, plans, and initiatives to promote a safe working environment.
- This role involves providing expert advice, assessment, and consultation to ensure legislative compliance and best practice.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for informing injury prevention and risk management practices and procedures.
- Key responsibilities include assessing, investigating, and advising on remediation strategies for workplace hazards and incidents.
As a Work Health and Safety Specialist, you will contribute to the achievement of outcomes in accordance with the regulatory framework, AFP Code of Conduct, and Governance Instruments.
This is a full-time ongoing position with flexible work arrangements available. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in Work Health and Safety.
Requirements- Australian Citizenship
- Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Certificate IV or above in Work Health and Safety or equivalent
