Barback Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Barback to join our team in a luxury hotel environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service to guests, assisting the bar staff with requisition, stores, food preparation, and beverage service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Punctuality, efficiency, and courtesy towards guests and colleagues.
  • Maintaining personal grooming and professional appearance at all times.
  • Knowledge of cocktails and food and beverage principles to ensure correct preparation and presentation.
  • Ensuring bar cleanliness, adhering to hygiene standards, and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Managing stock, equipment, and breakage reports efficiently.
  • Operating the POS system, handling cashiering duties, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of food and beverage products and services.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, adjusting quickly to changing customer preferences and business needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
