Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Transmission Line Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Structural Transmission Line Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing structural solutions for transmission lines and substations.

About You And The Role

This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, including wind, solar, battery storage, pumped hydro, and utilities works. You will have the chance to collaborate with a talented team of engineers and professionals who share your passion for innovation and sustainability.

Key Requirements Of The Role Are As Follows

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • At least 10 years' experience in structural design work, with a particular emphasis on transmission line and substation structural design
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards: AS/NZS 7000, AS 4100, AS 3600, AS 3995, and AS 1170
  • Sound experience in computer design packages such as PLS Tower and PLS Pole
  • Experience in developing conductor loads for transmission and substation structures
  • Ability to solve complex technical and operational problems through a systematic approach or innovation
