Key Role in Underground Operations

The Alternate Underground Manager oversees operational teams, managing external contractors and/or Northern Star Mining Services.

This position is responsible for generating operating plans that align with the Company's requirements, maximising the underground mine's contribution to the Operation.

The successful candidate will develop forecasts, mining strategy, and mine design, planning guidelines and strategies to optimise mining processes.

  • Directly control, manage and supervise the operational teams.
  • Generate operating plans.
  • Prepare forecasts and develop mining strategy.
  • Develop mine design, planning guidelines and strategies.
  • Finalise unit cost calculations for estimation purposes.
