About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and challenging environment. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for implementing and evaluating strategies to improve workplace safety culture and reduce restrictive practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Clinical Nurse Consultants to work collaboratively with stakeholders to implement initiatives that promote integrated and consultative safe care and flexibility within the workforce.
  • Develop and implement contemporary strategies to reduce restrictive practices such as seclusion and restraint.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders, managers, and staff to assess and improve safety processes within the organization.
  • Plan and execute clinical quality strategies to enhance workplace safety and foster a stronger safety culture.
Requirements
  • Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Relevant post-graduate qualifications in health, leadership, management, public administration or a related field, or a combination of study and work experience.
  • Demonstrated clinical leadership and operational experience working at a senior level within a mental health service.
  • Proven sound knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, mental health legislation and contemporary practices to reduce restrictive practice whilst managing safety.
  • Current NSW Driver Licence.
