Australia and New Zealand Solutions Architecture is a technical management role where you will lead, coach, grow, and partner with technically skilled customer-facing Solution Architects.

As the ANZ Solutions Architecture Manager, you will have the opportunity to drive growth and shape the future of emerging technology in Australia and New Zealand. Your responsibilities include thought leadership, driving value creation for customers, shaping technical solutions, growing the team, and leading specific customer engagement and interaction at the Director and VP level.

You should be a self-starter who owns, defines, develops, and executes a customer-outcome plan. Interaction, communication, and partnership with departments within AWS such as sales, support, services teams, business development, marketing, partners, and professional services are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Guide Team Members: Provide leadership and guidance to the ANZ Solutions Architecture team.
  • Develop Long-term Strategic Relationships: Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality solutions and excellent customer service.
  • Hire, Onboard, Train, and Develop: Hire, onboard, train, and develop new Solution Architects from internal and external sources.
  • Build and Coach Team on Skills Needed: Build and coach the team on skills needed for one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions.
  • Educate Customers on AWS Value Proposition: Educate public sector customers on AWS value proposition and participate in architectural discussions.
  • Guide Development of Whitepapers, Data Sheets, and Guidance: Guide the development of whitepapers, data sheets, and high-value customer-facing guidance.
  • Act as Conduit and Liaison: Act as conduit and liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support.
