Senior IT Architecture Position

Overview: This is a challenging and rewarding environment where you will work with IT experts.

  • This role bridges the gap between IT architecture and operational delivery, moving from experienced architect to team lead.

The role is responsible for designing, right sizing, reviewing, and overseeing the delivery of robust IT solutions to ensure alignment with business goals.

Main Responsibilities:
  • You will own the internal Technology roadmap and systems ensuring it aligns to business strategy and needs.
  • Partner with IT stakeholders to design and implement modern, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Evaluate and introduce new technologies to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Ensure architectural standards, patterns, and best practices are followed across systems and services.
  • Actively engage in implementation, guiding the team and participating in hands-on technical work to address capacity or capability gaps as required.
  • Mentor, upskill, and identify development opportunities within the team to strengthen overall technical expertise.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10–15+ years in the industry with strong experience across software architecture.
  • Experience in taking business challenges and translating them into suitable technical solutions.
  • Previous experience mentoring or leading technical teams highly regarded.
  • Deep hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures, integration, APIs, automation frameworks, data modeling, and governance methodologies.
  • Java development, AWS Lambda function, microservices, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to simplify and deliver pragmatic solutions.
  • Experience working with and influencing other IT professionals at a senior level.
  • Industry certifications highly regarded (ITIL and Agile/Project Management, AWS, Microsoft, etc.).
