About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our Canberra Development team in a leadership position. The successful candidate will have a strong background in C++ development and excellent technical management skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers and contributing to the design and implementation of critical systems that drive our platform. You will work collaboratively with a global team to deliver high-quality software solutions and ensure that our technology meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of software engineers to design, develop, and implement software solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical best practices
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects and meet quality standards
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of industry experience in C++ development
  • At least 3 years of technical management or lead experience
  • Good debugging skills and a strong understanding of object-oriented design principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to contribute to employee performance review processes
  • A relevant tertiary qualification
