About the Role

The People and Culture Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth administration of employment contracts for our homes, guaranteeing that Estia Health engages employees in a safe, legal, and efficient manner.

This role requires a driven individual with exceptional organizational and time management skills to deliver client-centric support and solutions to our people leaders across the network of 73 homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance the candidate experience by supporting workforce use of our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) - PageUp
  • Ensure all new staff satisfy our pre-employment check requirements, and work with each home to issue employment contracts, ensuring legal compliance and correct Enterprise Agreement (EA) rates are applied where relevant
  • Assist in coordinating the initial onboarding process
  • Collaborate with payroll and home operations teams to ensure workforce paperwork is correctly and efficiently recorded
  • Maintain the integrity of employee files across the organization
  • Opportunity to support and streamline recruitment processes, developing recruitment skills in this dynamic industry
Requirements:
  • Highly developed communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to practice confidentiality
  • A strong work ethic with demonstrated time management skills
  • Broadly proficient with current technology (including Microsoft Office and general computing skills)
  • Knowledge of PageUp or other Application ATS (desirable, but not essential)
  • Understanding of basic Human Resources processes
