Senior Finance Director

The Catholic Education Western Australia is seeking an experienced Business Manager to oversee the financial operations of St Luke's College. This is a full-time, ongoing position commencing August 2024 or negotiable date.
Job Description- Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Oversee the school's financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Resource Allocation: Efficiently manage resources to support the school's strategic goals and educational programs.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and school policies. Manage risk and implement best practices in governance and operations.
- HR Management: Oversee the administration of staff including contracts, management of leave and administering rural incentives for staff.
- Facilities Management: Manage the maintenance and development of school facilities, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work collaboratively with school leadership, staff, parents, and the community to support the school's mission and vision.
- Strong Financial Acumen and Analytical Skills: Strong financial acumen and analytical skills are essential for this role.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are required to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Proficient in Relevant Financial and Administrative Software: Proficiency in relevant financial and administrative software is necessary to perform tasks efficiently.
- Demonstrated Leadership and Organisational Skills: Demonstrated leadership and organisational skills are required to lead teams and manage projects.
- Demonstrated High Level of Written and Oral Presentation Skills: A high level of written and oral presentation skills is required to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Postgraduate Qualifications: Postgraduate qualifications such as CPA, CA or MBA qualifications are preferred.
- Criminal History Check: A current National Police History Check as issued by the Department of Education Western Australia must be included.
Catholic Education Western Australia offers a competitive salary package, which includes:
- A estimated annual salary of $120,000 - $150,000 based on location and experience.
