Senior Mobile Software Engineer

A newly created opportunity for an Android Developer is available with a product-based business in the resources sector.
As part of a small, collaborative team in Perth, you will contribute to software that plays a key role in operational decision-making. This hands-on role involves developing and enhancing the Android tablet component of their product.
The work will begin with improvements to the Android application, with the potential to expand into other products such as web applications and related software. You will work closely with a Development Lead and another Android developer, taking ownership of solutions while being supported in a collaborative environment.
This is a 12-month contract with a strong likelihood of converting to a permanent position. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial Android development, using Kotlin/Android technologies, and be familiar with current Android versions as well as older versions where required.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Should have at least 6 months of commercial Android development experience.
- Familiarity with current Android versions and willingness to work with older versions (6 or 11) if needed.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
