About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Counselling Educators to join our team at the Australian College of Applied Professions. As a Counselling Educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of professionals in the field of Counselling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach classes, including tutorials, intensive workshops, and online forums, to students in Counselling.
  • Mark assignments and perform administrative tasks associated with the classes.
  • Teach from our Sydney CBD or Melbourne CBD campus.
  • Full-time or part-time for a specific period, with the opportunity to assume the role of Unit Coordinator in exceptional circumstances.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a tertiary education institution.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with all levels of the College.
  • Excellent scholarly expertise and/or industry expertise in Counselling.
  • Breadth of Counselling industry expertise.
Essential Qualifications
  • A Counselling qualification, at least Masters.
  • Membership or eligibility for membership of PACFA or ACA.
