Job Title: Consultant - Physician - Geriatrics

This is a Fixed Term Full Time or Fixed Term Part Time appointment for an initial 6 months contract, with the possibility of extension(s). We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant - Physician - Geriatrics to join our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist medical services to patients.
  • Promote patient safety and quality of care.
  • Lead the multidisciplinary team to achieve national, state and East Metropolitan Health Service performance standards and targets.
Requirements:
  • Valid working visa or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia.
  • Certification from Area Medical Credentialing Committee.
  • Leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education skills for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners and other health workers.
