We are seeking a skilled Public Affairs Specialist to join our team.

  • Manage internal and external communication channels, fostering effective relationships with stakeholders and community groups.
  • Coordinate public events and community engagement initiatives that align with organisational goals and policies.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare reports for management, ensuring timely and professional responses to public and media enquiries.
  • Support the development and execution of communication strategies that promote clear communication and engagement with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage internal and external communication channels, including email, social media, and other platforms.
  • Coordinate public events and community engagement initiatives, including workshops, seminars, and meetings.
  • Prepare reports for management on media coverage, stakeholder engagement, and community outreach.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies that promote clear communication and engagement with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations or Journalism.
  • Previous experience in communications, public relations, or a similar role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders and community groups, with a focus on building and maintaining relationships.
