Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking experienced and motivated Support Workers in the Coffs Harbour region to assist with 24/7 service delivery.

Your role will include:

  1. In-home care for clients requiring assistance with daily living tasks
  2. Personal care, including grooming and hygiene support
  3. Community access, enabling clients to engage in activities and maintain social connections
  4. Respite care, providing temporary relief for caregivers
  5. Domestic assistance, helping clients with household chores and errands
  6. Medication assistance, ensuring clients take their medications as prescribed
  7. Meal preparation, providing healthy meals for clients
  8. Transport, assisting clients with transportation to appointments and activities
  9. Shopping assistance, supporting clients with grocery shopping and other errands
  10. Welfare checks, monitoring client well-being and providing emotional support
  11. Documentation of client progress/reports, tracking client goals and outcomes
  12. Working with NDIS and Aged Care clients to fulfill their short-term/long-term goals
  13. Paid mileage, reimbursed for work-related travel
  14. Training provided, enhancing skills and knowledge in support work
  15. Part-time hours: minimum of 10 hours, flexible to meet client needs

The role requires a high level of empathy, understanding, and patience when working with clients. We value candidates who possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
