We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team as an Advanced Practitioner. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will play a critical role in delivering Person Centred Behaviour Support to customers with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide supervision and support to Core and Proficient Behaviour Support Practitioners
  • Develop and implement behaviour support plans that promote positive outcomes for customers
  • Deliver training and professional development opportunities to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in behaviour support
  • Network and build relationships with the local community to promote the values of Northcott
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years' experience working with people with diverse needs, including those with complex needs
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in a behaviour support role
  • Proven ability to mentor and coach staff to develop their skills and knowledge in behaviour support
  • Experience working with customers, staff, and families using Positive Behaviour Support approach
  • Strong understanding of Person Centred approach and its application in behaviour support
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve organisational goals
