Job Title: HV Specialist Skills Technician

We are seeking an experienced HV Specialist Skills Technician to join our team at Vestas. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our high-voltage equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safe operation of high-voltage equipment, including substations and reticulation systems.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on high-voltage equipment, including inspections and repairs.
  • Provide remote operational and technical support to site-based HV operators.
  • Respond to and attend site outside normal working hours to undertake unscheduled maintenance.
  • Plan and execute substation maintenance shutdowns, coordinating with internal teams and supervising third parties.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary or trade qualification in electrical engineering.
  • HV operator certification.
  • Substation experience preferred.
  • Eligible for appointment as Vestas HV advanced operator.
