Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Scaffold Technician to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scaffolding and a proven track record of working safely and efficiently on construction sites.

This is a key role that requires the ability to work at heights, use a variety of materials, tools, and equipment, and ensure that scaffolds are constructed in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards.

  • Safely construct, install, and dismantle scaffolding on construction sites, including the use of proprietary scaffold systems, tubes, fittings, boards, and safety equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety standards, guidelines, and regulations, including Worksafe and local building codes. Inspect scaffolding structures for stability, integrity, and safety compliance throughout the project.
  • Use and maintain tools and equipment required for scaffold construction, such as wrenches, hammers, levels, and scaffolding components.
  • Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to ensure scaffolding is built according to the project's specifications and timeline.
  • Regularly check scaffolding for wear, defects, or damage, and perform necessary repairs to ensure the safety and stability of the structure.
  • Identify and report any potential safety hazards or issues on the jobsite to the supervisor immediately.
  • Ensure that scaffolds are erected and disassembled efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized worksite throughout the duration of the project.
  • Transport and distribute scaffolding materials to and from the work site, ensuring proper storage and care of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of scaffold inspections, safety checks, and any incidents or issues encountered during scaffold installation or use.
Requirements
  • Hold an Advanced Scaffolder HRWL certification.
  • Hold a WAH Ticket (Within 2 Years).
  • Hold a White Card.
  • Be physically fit and capable of manual work.
  • Be able to safely work at heights.
Preferred Qualifications

At least 2-3 years' relevant scaffolding experience.
