Underground Infrastructure Specialist

A geologist is required to join our team in Sydney, AU, to work on a major infrastructure project.
Key Responsibilities:- Face mapping of excavated tunnel faces and associated duties
- Geotechnical inspection and test plans (ITP)
- Geological face mapping of tunnels and excavations
- Communicating ground conditions to CPS Leads or Section Leads
- Directing spot bolting for local instability
- Probing and piling inspections/supervisions
- Anchor drilling and foundation inspections/supervisions
To be considered, candidates must have:
- Geotechnical Engineer, Mining Engineer, or Engineering Geologist experience with an undergraduate degree
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience (logging, mapping, site investigation)
- Familiarity with AS1726, Sydney Classification System, and local construction environment
- Longevity of employment
