We are seeking an experienced Information Security Officer to join our team at HUB24 Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of our Information Security Management System (ISMS) to support the growth of our business while managing risk within agreed tolerances.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and develop ISMS policies, standards, guidelines, and processes related to the Information Security Framework.
- Lead liaisons with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant standards and frameworks, including PCIDSS, ISO27001, ASAE3402, ATO OSF, CPS 234, and Privacy Act.
- Implement information security strategies, risk management frameworks, and maintain risk registers across the Group.
- Lead information security education and awareness training initiatives for employees, contractors, and suppliers.
- Conduct compliance readiness assessments and assurance activities against policy and standard requirements.
- Lead timely responses to external audits, client reviews, and attestations.
- Evaluate, validate, and implement information security improvement actions and audit findings.
- Conduct third-party security assessments against internal and industry standards.
- Continuously lead controls improvement.
- Assist with preparing reports to measure and track the effectiveness of ISMS.
- Support incident response planning, business continuity planning, security incidents, and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with the team, share responsibilities, and provide support as required.
- 1-4 years of working experience in Information Security.
- Familiarity with security and risk-related standards or frameworks such as ASD8, NIST, ISO, and GDPR.
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience and/or ISO27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CISM, CISA, CRISC a plus.
- Understanding of the Financial Services Sector is desirable.
- Ability to drive execution, influence stakeholders, and work with dispersed teams.
- Capacity to adjust to changing focus and priorities.
- Previous experience in implementing or maintaining an ISMS as governed by the ISO 27001 standard.
- Previous experience in implementing awareness programs and participating in security audits.
- $80,000 - $100,000 a year.
