About the Role

Hickinbotham Group is seeking a highly skilled Land Strategy and Acquisitions Manager to join our team in Adelaide, South Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the Group's strategic land acquisition program to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Identify and acquire strategic greenfield sites for development, working closely with government authorities and landowners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and business case development to evaluate the viability of potential acquisitions.
  • Liaise with government authorities, consultants, and contractors to drive project progress and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Structure and negotiate land purchase contracts, including terms and conditions, purchase price, and contingencies.
  • Conduct due diligence on potential acquisitions, including title searches and zoning and planning reviews.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in land development and the construction industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and recommend practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of maturity and professionalism.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience with project management tools.
