The role of Amenities Cleaner is a vital part of maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Regularly cleaning communal facilities, including public ablutions, ensuring high hygiene standards and reporting any maintenance issues
- Assisting with linen upkeep and replenishing cleaning supplies
- Assisting with guest accommodation cleaning as required
- Interacting with guests professionally, addressing cleanliness-related enquiries
- Following health and safety regulations
- Working with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure consistent cleanliness and service
The ideal candidate will be meticulous, organized and passionate about creating a clean and comfortable environment for our guests.
This role may require heavy lifting (up to 20kg), kneeling, squatting, and working with chemicals and machinery.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a housekeeping role or commercial cleaning capacity
- Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Excellent time management skills
- Flexibility to work hours over a 7 day roster, including weekends and public holidays
- Enthusiasm and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment
