Product Management Specialist

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of commercial insurance product management. As a Product Management Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing an operational plan for end-to-end lifecycle management of individual products and entire product classes.

About You
  • You have 5+ years of experience in product management within an insurance-based legal practice or large-scale insurer or financial services organization.
  • You possess deep knowledge of insurance product structure and experience in drafting insurance products.
  • You are able to integrate inputs from pricing, underwriting, portfolio management, and distribution to optimize product lifecycles and profitability.
  • You have demonstrated experience influencing product strategy, design, governance, and pricing across multiple product classes and stakeholder groups.
  • You hold relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, insurance, or related fields, with industry certifications such as ANZIIF preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute an operational plan for end-to-end lifecycle management of individual products and entire product classes.
  • Integrate inputs from pricing, underwriting, portfolio management, and distribution to optimize product lifecycles and profitability.
  • Influence product strategy, design, governance, and pricing across multiple product classes and stakeholder groups.
  • Work closely with multiple teams and stakeholders to drive business objectives and enhance overall product effectiveness.
