About this Role

As a key member of our team, you will drive the protection of our wonderful places by guiding and supporting core pest management programs and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and support core pest management programs and projects
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of feral animal, invasive weed and emerging biosecurity, including effective techniques in line with relevant legislation
  • Possess strong communication skills and be able to support operational units deliver desired outcomes
  • Build sustainable relationships with key stakeholders of pest management, management planning, and engagement with our First Nations partners
  • Apply high level writing and data presentation skills to contribute to management planning and development of key thematic strategies
  • Work autonomously and within a geographically dispersed team
  • Demonstrate strong initiative, problem solving and resolution skills
  • Understand project management fundamentals including planning, reporting and budgets in liaison with relative units
  • Possess mapping and data collection skills (desirable)
